Dear Bambi,

Well! There is a Christmas tree in the great room. This is annoying because there are gifts under the tree. None of these gifts have my name on them. My grandchildren are confused by this. Who are those gifts for anyway? What is going on here? When are those gifts going to be opened by someone?
Suzie

Dear Susie,
The gifts are just part of the decorating. They are empty packages. Such a waste, huh?

My suggestion is that they get a train set and place that under the tree! Wouldn't that be fun! Can't you see how the few men that live here would congregate and enjoy watching that train go around and around! (Men are so easily amused.)

I think somebody should take up a collection (Marie is good at that!) and then a committee of all the men can go and shop for a big train set. Think of the bonding that would occur as they discus the merits of different train sets. It could keep those guys busy from Halloween to Christmas. (Think how happy that would make their wives!)

If a platform is needed to really make the train something significant maybe Larry could do that. All the guys would help on that too. There could be a village and a station, just lots of stuff! Soon Avenida would be famous for the happiest guys anywhere. All it will take is a great train set. I think this is the best advice I have ever given!

Bambi
