Where are they now?

 I received a text from Chris Talaga.  She moved in the spring to Florida to be nearer to her daughter.  I remember no matter how early I went down to breakfast; I would always find Chris in the game room watching the latest news on the TV.  

Chris wrote the following:

I am doing great in Florida.  I've met a lot of residents here at Overture Hamlin. I am keeping busy with a lot of activities, and I am learning new games (poker, rummikub etc.,)  I also love the aqua aerobics, yoga, and balance classes.  We do a lot of crafts.  We also have happy hour every week.  We only get breakfast two days a week. but there is a dinner and a late lunch once a week,  Every morning there is a fresh fruit basket and ice water. We also have parties with a DJ and lots of dancing.  There is bingo every week with prizes.  Movie nights come with popcorn, snacks, and soda. Here at Overture Hamlin they also celebrate each person's  birthday with a Happy Hour which includes food and cake for everyone along with a card signed by the Staff.  There is also a musician, DJ or karaoke with singing and dancing.

Our life coordinator does a super job with plenty of activities.  She also has other office duties so there is only four on staff.  I think that is why our rent is less than Avenida.
